Since there’s not yet any official documentation on the topic, I figured that I’d write a post about it for everyone’s edification. I’ve recieved a few emails from users asking how to compile Enterprise from source code so that they can create their own builds to be used with Mac Linux USB Loader. The focus of this lesson is writing EFI programs which can run on a Mac, but I don’t discriminate too much between different platforms. Today, I’m going to write the first of a three-part series on how to write EFI programs. Here’s a short post showing a little trick that I found. This is strictly pre-release, and I do not recommend upgrading unless you have some experience dealing with beta software. I am happy to announce the release of the Mac Linux USB Loader 3.1 beta.
